Sally Studer is an owner of VO2 Fitness and teaches Cardio-Kickboxing, Personal Training, and private Group Fitness classes. Sally is a US Navy Veteran, a Certified Fitness Trainer, and she has been in the fitness industry for nearly twenty years. She has instructed military personnel and has taught in fitness studios in Alaska, Washington, California, and Ohio. Michelle Newman Brady is an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and teaches both BOXFIT and FLEX, a strength training class she developed with the goal of teaching strength training basics to those new to lifting. In addition to leading classes, Michelle is a Mayo Clinic Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and she takes great joy in working with individuals moving from "couch to fit." A mom to a three year old, Michelle is an Ironman triathlete and understands the pressures of balancing training, work, and family. Head 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Jon Borrows is a BJJ purple belt under Vitor Oliveira and an expert no-gi submission grappler. Jon has been training for over seven years and has numerous tournament victories and championships. A mixed martial arts veteran, Jon has a progressive teaching style catering to neutralizing opponents of any size with lockdowns and sweeps. I have always had a love and interest in fitness. In order to pursue my dreams, I became a Beachbody coach in January 2016 then quickly decided I wanted to take it even further. I became certified in Insanity in October 2016. Insanity is a Beachbody fitness high intensity interval (HIIT) workout. In my classes, I show both modified and advanced moves! So, ALL fitness levels are welcomed. As a coach and trainer, I offer monthly fit groups on Facebook to hold you accountable with workouts and healthy eating. Sam holds an MFA in Dance Pedagogy, Performance and Choreography from Arizona State University. As a professional dancer and previously collegiate rower, Sam has relied on mindful movement awareness studying Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais, and Modern Dance to improve her day-to-day mobility and artistry. Sam has taught dance and Pilates Mat classes for the last 10 years at colleges and pre-professional dance studios around the country. After dancing professionally in Arizona, Wyoming and Colorado, Sam completed the Balanced Body Pilates Mat coursework before moving “home” to Ohio in 2015. Sam loves teaching any student ages 0-100 willing to take joy in the act of motion and learn within our own individual capabilities. When Sam isn’t sharing her love of movement, she’s busy chasing around 2 gregarious and energetic sons with her husband. This is her first time teaching in a gym setting and she’s delighted to connect with the community to share her Pilates practice, as well as, Creative Movement for kids. Lauren Montagnese is a substitute trainer for Cardio-Kickboxing and Boxfit classes. She is all about fitness and leading a balanced healthy lifestyle. She has been a Zumba instructor since 2011 and is also certified to teach kids. She periodically volunteers her time to provide local schools with a customized Zumba experience. She started attending Cardio Kickboxing back in October 2016 to add some variety to her workouts and continues to thrive on the high energy and intensity the classes at VO2 Fitness provide.
Erin Bossart is a substitute trainer at VO2 Fitness for the evening Cardio-Kickboxing and Boxfit classes. Erin began her journey into fitness with Sally about five years ago, and she hasn't looked back since! Erin is grateful for the opportunity to help her friends at VO2 Fitness by subbing for classes to not only challenge herself, but also motivate others in the process. Erin previously studied Martial Arts and has earned her brown belt in Taekwondo.
